Thank you to all who prayed and made this trip possible. I am so proud of these guys but particularly my son.
For Diego, Will, and Gary, little do you know in my eyes, your humanitarianism began for me when you embraced my child as your brother. He traveled amongst you with more than likely the least of resources, he started this venture in fact with 4 dollars in his pocket. As a parent I felt concern and guilt that I could not send him off in the way my heart knew that he would need for such a journey. As time went on and I did what I could, I remembered that above all else, Jaraun is a survivor. I am so grateful that he had the company of you guys and that you took the time to share your journey and resources with my son. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your kindness.
Jaraun, the journey has just begun and it has been proven to you that although time is of the essence, greater things come to those who have waited, been tested and come through the fire.
I love you!!
